Shiloh is an old settlement which had its name changed to Shiloh in 1771. A church, an old academy, and several homes were built in the 18th and early 19th centuries. Howell Homestead is where men dressed as Indians before travel to Greenwich for tea burnings. A school bell in the old academy still rings to begin school. DeCou Orchards and packing house is a popular spot where visitors are welcome.
